Pastors Javier and Ia Jimenez

Javier and Ia have been serving as Pastors of New Life since October 2014. Javier has served and supported international missions for the last twenty years and has played a key leadership role in Los Angeles based workplace ministry, Works of Power, since 2004. He also served as Associate Pastor of New Life from 2012-2014.  Ia has been in active ministry for the last fourteen years as the founder of White Cord Ministries and Executive Vice President of the Plain Jane Project, discipleship ministries dedicated to purity and sexual integrity. They are committed to shepherding New Life with strong foundations of prayer, worship and biblical teaching. They believe in the equipping and sending out of the saints and reaching the greater community with Christ's love.

Rusty & Alegra Rohr

Alegra was raised in a home where her parents took her to church and taught her about Christianity. However, her first experience with Christian praise and worship songs was in her dorm as a freshman at a Christian college. She loved the songs so much that when she later made plans to go to a different college, the worship leader gave her a copy of the song sheets. One of her friends taught her some guitar chords so she could continue singing to the Lord. Alegra became involved with Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Utah. She received Christ as her Savior and began her journey with a deep & personal relationship with Jesus. How incredible it was that the Lord revealed her ministry gift before she gave her life to Him! Within a very short time, she met Rusty, who was an excellent guitarist. He took the time to teach her the guitar and as God would have it, he also fell in love with her.

​After Alegra & Rusty were married, they were asked to lead worship at their church. Together, they led music in several churches before moving to St George. Shortly after their move, they met Ia & Javier. Together, they began searching for a church to attend with their families. The oldest child in each family (Sol & Sofia) loved children's church & wanted to come back! Since the adults felt the same way, New Life became their church home. Almost immediately, Alegra became involved in the music ministry. Within a few months, she was asked to be the worship leader. Recently, Rusty has joined Alegra in her leadership role.

Along with this ministry, the Lord has given Alegra & Rusty 4 beautiful children, one of them, they recently adopted. They have a heart for foster care and currently have a foster daughter living with them as well.
