senior pastors - new life christian center st. george

Pastors Javier and Ia Jimenez
Javier and Ia bring over 30 years of ministry leadership to their roles as senior pastors of New Life St. George, where they’ve served since 2014. With a shared passion for evangelism and discipleship, Javier has led international missions and workplace ministry, while Ia has founded and led ministries focused on purity and integrity. They planted New Life Christian Center Hurricane in 2017 and launched New Life Christian Academy in 2023. As parents of four children, including both young and adult kids, they understand the challenges of raising a family while leading a growing church. Their leadership is characterized by a deep love for Christ, a commitment to biblical teaching, and a heart to help others experience God’s love and healing. Through collaborative leadership, they empower others to grow in faith and live out the mission of reaching the community with the transformative love of Jesus. They embrace their call to pastor in Southern Utah with joy and humility, dedicated to creating a place where everyone can experience the fullness of God’s kingdom.

Eduardo and Sara Bonilla

Eduardo and Sara are missionaries in Utah, where they’ve been serving since God called them during a time of training. Originally from Colombia and Spain, they lived and served in Denmark for nine years, where their two children were born. With over 25 years of intercultural experience in ministry, they have worked with children, youth, families, and leaders, specializing in counseling, mentoring, and worship. In 2016, they founded Bedrock ASFM, a ministry and leadership training center supporting pastors, leaders and families in crisis, helping resolve conflict, and equipping others for healing and growth. Eduardo is a licensed clinical mental health counselor with an M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Sara is certified in formational prayer and caregiving from Ashland Theological Seminary, as well as in Theology and Ministry from Christ for the Nations Seminary. Eduardo and Sara are caregivers by nature, with an innate ability to connect and love people deeply. Driven by their own healing journeys, they are passionate about restoring broken marriages, healing trauma and relational wounds, and equipping leaders with healthy leadership tools, sharing Christ’s love and transformative power with everyone they serve.
