Christ Alone We Exalt Thee
When we exalt the name of Jesus, everything else gets smaller. The problems, the worries, the stress - they all come down when we keep our eyes focused on how magnificent and powerful our God truly is.
Pride says "I must increase" but humility declares "He must increase, I must decrease." The truth is, we were never meant to carry the weight of self-promotion, performance, or proving our worth. Our identity isn't rooted in our job title, our role, or what others think of us. Our true identity is found in being a child of God - chosen, beloved, His masterpiece.
God has given each of us a ministry of reconciliation. What would change in your home, your friendships, your workplace if you saw yourself first as a minister of reconciliation instead of trying to control or manage everything around you?
Your real life is hidden with Christ in God. Not the chaos you see, not the troubles that assault you daily - but the redeemed, restored, victorious life He's already secured for you. When you make Jesus rightfully big, when you exalt Him above everything else, His power, His truth, and His promises get magnified in your life.
Set your sights on eternal realities. Clothe yourself in humility, mercy, kindness, and above all - love. Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart and always be thankful.
Christ alone we exalt. Not ourselves. Not our achievements. Him.
